Travel Reimbursement

If you plan to attend National Police Week, C.O.P.S. Adult Children’s Retreat, Outward Bound® Adventure, C.O.P.S. Kids Camp, Fiancés/Significant Others Retreat, Siblings Retreat, Spouses Retreat, In-Laws Retreat, Parents’ Retreat, or Affected Co-Workers Retreat you may apply for travel assistance to each of these programs.

The Iowa C.O.P.S. Bike Team wishes to recognize and honor the extraordinary contributions of law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty. The bike team's mission is to ensure these officers are never forgotten while raising funds and awareness for Iowa C.O.P.S. supporting the surviving family members, loved ones, and colleagues of fallen officers across Iowa.

Beneficiary Designation for U.S. D.O.J. Public Safety Officers’ Benefits (PSOB) Program

The Public Safety Officers' Benefits Program (PSOB) provides a death benefit to the eligible survivors of Federal, state or local public safety officers whose death was the direct and proximate result of a personal (traumatic) injury sustained in the line of duty (certain fatal, line of duty heart attacks and strokes are also covered). The act also provides a disability benefit to eligible public safety officers who have been permanently and totally disabled as the direct result of a catastrophic personal injury sustained in the line of duty.
