2025 Blue Blood Drive
January 9
January 9th is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.
Iowa C.O.P.S. is partnering with LifeServe Blood Centers, The American Red Cross, ImpactLife Blood Centers, and the University of Iowa’s DeGowin Blood Center for this annual event. In partnering with these four blood centers, Iowa C.O.P.S. can reach all corners of the state and lead the nation in total units collected for a 7th straight year. This blood drive is held in early January, a time when few people think of blood donation, which can lead to shortages for those who require blood transfusions for cancer treatment or traumatic injuries.
Please consider donating this January at one of the local LifeServe locations (WDM, Urbandale, Johnston etc.) and receive a free t-shirt for your donation.
