Iowa C.O.P.S. Board Meeting- Letters of Intent

2020 ELECTION INFORMATION
Iowa C.O.P.S will be having their next board meeting on February 18th @ 5:00pm.
The meeting will be held at the following address:
Pleasant Hill Police Department
5151 Maple Street
Pleasant Hill, Iowa 50327
Survivors: If you would like to run for a position, you will need to submit a letter of intent stating which position you want to run for and why you think you would be a good fit for that position.
*In order to run for a position you must be in attendance at the February 18th meeting to hand deliver a printed copy of your letter of intent, must be in our survivor database for a minimum of 30 days, and lastly you must have been a survivor for one year or more before holding a position on the board.*
POSITIONS WE ARE ACCEPTING LETTERS OF INTENT FOR THAT ARE UP FOR RE-ELECTION IN 2020 ARE:

VICE PRESIDENT
On Thursday, February 18th, we will send out a list of candidates that will appear on the ballot. Election Day will take place March 27th @ 5:00pm at the Downtown Hilton, in the Matrix room inside the Hilton.
You are eligible to vote if you are a survivor register through National COPS. If you have attended events such as National Police Week or any of our Hands on Programs you are already registered.
