Iowa C.O.P.S. had a custom shirt made to honor the fallen who will be honored at Police Week in Washington D.C. in May 2023. The fallen listed on the back of each shirt are
1. Prairie City Police Chief Michael German
2. Allamakee County Deputy John Grampovnik
3. Fremont County Deputy Melvin Richardson (it will say Melvin and not Austin on the printed shirts)
4. Coralville Police Sgt. John WilliamS
5. Ottumwa Patrolman Henry Graves (historical)
Direct Co-workers and direct family members of the fallen who are going to police week and are registered through National C.O.P.S. and have submitted their shirt size to Iowa C.O.P.S. will receive 1 Heather Navy colored shirt from Iowa C.O.P.S. We will place one bulk order of the shirt sizes we have received from survivors attending Police Week in Heather Grey, but if you would like a second shirt, want a specific shirt color, are not attending police week 2022, or want a shirt for your spouse, please feel free to purchase a shirt that helps support our mission to send survivors to Washington D.C. At this time, orders are being taken until April 17th at 8:00 a.m. to ensure that we are able get the shirts printed and shipped in time for police week.
