Sean O'Neill is currently a Senior Police Officer with the Des Moines Police Department assigned to Night Watch Patrol. Sean has been in law enforcement since 2013, serving with the Myrtle Beach Police Department prior to joining DMPD in 2015. Sean obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Coastal Carolina University and Master's Degree in Public Administration from Upper Iowa University. Sean joined the Iowa C.O.P.S. board in 2019 after personally experiencing the essential services that Iowa C.O.P.S. provides to not only those closely effected by line of duty deaths, but also the community as a whole. Sean currently serves as a Vice President on the board and is available to assist the mission of C.O.P.S. in any capacity. Sean is a past trustee on the board.
