Devon Barrett is currently a Residential Officer in the sixth district with the Iowa Department of Corrections Currently assigned to second shift at the Lary A Nelson Center. Devon has been with corrections since 2015. Devon served as an Officer as well as a Sergeant at the Anamosa State Penitentiary. Devon joined the Iowa COPS board in 2023 after personally experiencing the essential services that Iowa COPS provides to all that is affected when a line of duty death occurs. Devon currently serves as a trustee on the board and is willing to assist the mission of Iowa COPS on any way I can.
